We are not an independent third-party outlet. We run several guide sites alongside developing MapRaiders, our own MMO-adjacent game, and we say so on every page that mentions it.
How picks are made
Every game listed on this site is chosen and described using this method:
- Official sources only. Name, developer, publisher, platforms, pricing model and current status are taken from each game's own website, store page or official press materials, linked directly from the pick.
- No hands-on review claims. We do not publish star ratings, review scores or "our test" claims for games we have not personally tested. Where a page states "based on official information and public documentation," that means exactly that: we did not play the game ourselves for that article.
- No invented numbers. We do not publish player counts, download figures or review counts we cannot verify from an official source at the time of checking.
- A visible check date. Every page lists the date its facts were last checked. Pricing models and platform support for live games change; we do not backdate updates.
- Selection for range, not for a single "winner." Our lists are built to cover different play styles, time commitments and cost models so a reader can find a fit, not to crown one universal best game.
How we handle our own game, MapRaiders
MapRaiders is a game in active development by Scafa Investments LLC. It is not downloadable and not publicly playable at the time of writing; it is currently accepting beta registrations at mapraiders.com/en/beta/. Wherever this site mentions MapRaiders, it appears in a clearly labelled "From our studio" box, separate from the independently sourced picks above it. We do not include MapRaiders in lists of games recommended as currently playable.
Corrections
If a fact on this site is out of date, for example a game's pricing model has changed since our check date, contact info@scafa-investments.com and we will review and update the page.
